Taylor Resigns as Non-Executive Chairman

Graham Taylor, Watford's most successful manager and front office mainstay, has stepped down as non-executive chairman.

Taylor, who took Watford from the Fourth Division to the First (pre-Premier League) in just four years in the Elton John era, was appointed to the Board in January 2009 where he steered the club through a rocky change in ownership. Owner Laurence Bassini will take over as interim chairman.

Good luck and many thanks Graham.
