I don't know why I'm so enamored by the League Cup - probably the underdog effect of a single game knockout tournament that lets the lower leagues play as well (see Notts County's result).
Also L*t*n Town was humiliated by the Toffees, eliminating our chance to give them a spanking ourselves. The un-Man of the Match was Keane, who managed the daily double of an own goal AND a yellow card.
