Sorry St. Louis - Maybe Next Time
Philadelphia has been awarded the newest MLS franchise, thwarting the effort to bring pro soccer to St. Louis, at least for now. Citing a lack of depth in the investor pool, the league did leave open the opportunity to place future franchises in the area.
