Middlesbrough 2-2 Watford 6-5-4 23 pts

A last-minute (literally) goal from Daniel Ayala, redeeming a defensive error that gave Watford the lead earlier, cost the Hornets two points and leave them standing outside the playoff zone.

Boro took an early lead with Albert Adomah finding his way through a miscommunicating Watford defense. Troy Deeney equalized with his first goal in seven matches ten minutes later and the match went into the half even at one.

Lloyd Doyley pulled up with a Charlie horse just before the half and was replaced by Essiad Belkalem at the start of the second half. Poor defending by Ayala led to a Fernando Forestieri goal in minute 73, but he erased his own error against Watford's own defensive miscues to salvage the point for Boro.

The next fixture for Watford is Saturday, November 23 when Bolton visits Vicarage Road. Kickoff is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
