Coventry City (2-3) 3-5-2 14 pts.

The Hornet's undefeated streak came to halt Tuesday in a back-and-forth bout with the Sky Blues.

A right-footer by Sammy Clingan gave Coventry an early lead 14 minutes in, but a Dow Cowie cross found Manchester United loanee Tom Cleverley and the Hornets drew even in the 21st minute.

Will Hoskins returned to the starting line-up and gave the Hornets the go-ahead goal in the 38th minute from 12 yards out, but the second half turned out to be all Coventry as Leon Best managed a pair of right-footers from six yards out, the last with only five minutes left, to recapture the lead and give Coventry three points.

Poor marking told the story on this one - the defense missing captain Jay DeMerit, out with an eye infection. Joining the walking wounded (which includes an iffy Heidar Helguson), Don Cowie left the pitch 60 minutes in.

Hopefully, we'll have some of these back Saturday when Cardiff City visits Vicarage Road. Kickoff is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
