A last-minute corner lead to an equalizing goal for Doncaster, denying the Hornets their first league home win of the season.
Watford found themselves in a hole going into the half as the result of Simon Gillett's 33 minute goal and plodded along in the second half until Marvin Sordell came on for Stephen McGinn at the 55 minute mark.
The result overshadowed the Sordell show in the second half as the Watford striker netted a pair of goals, the first a blistering header off a Don Cowie cross, the second an out-and-out beating of midfielder Gillett to right-foot the ball in from 20 yards down the channel.
George Friend's goal in added time marks the second time in three matches a Watford lead has fallen in the last minute at Vicarage Road.
The Hornets look for their second league win again on Tuesday, September 14 at Bristol City. Kickoff is 1:45 pm.
