Hull City 3-2 Watford 2-4-7 10 pts.

A nothing first half from Hull City and single goal from Watford exploded into an exciting match that saw four goals in the second half - unfortunately, three came from Hull.

Though Hull dominated possession in the first half, Scott Loach could have taken a seat in the stands for all the shots on goal they managed. Watford managed but one more, but that one eventually found its way into the goal, first a beautiful cross by Yeates to Troy Deeney who should have had credit for the goal, but it was ruled an own goal off of James Chester.

The Tigers perked up in the second half and equalized when Matt Fryatt beat John Eustace in minute 50.

Watford wasted no time regaining the lead when Chris Iwelumo nodded in a short header in the 56th minute with his first Watford goal. Again, the assist went to Yeates.

That lead only lasted ten minutes as Aaron Mclean found the back of the net from near in.

Watford's chances looked good as Yeates hit the bar and Eustace managed a chance late in the match, but a shocker from Robert Koren from 25 yards out with 30 seconds left in added time handed Watford their fourth straight loss and sunk them well into the relegation zone.

The next match finds Watford hosting Peterborough at Vicarage Road Saturday, October 30. Kick-off is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
