First half goals from David Nugent & Jermain Beckford were all the scoring the Foxes needed to power past Watford.
David Mirfin started for the injured Martin Taylor and Prince Buaben made his first league appearance for Watford, subbing for Michael Kightly, but the Hornets had few chances to put one past Kasper Schmeichel.
The loss leaves Watford hovering just outside the drop zone.
