Watford 1-1 Leeds United 6-7-8 25 pts.

Watford concedes a heartbreaking goal to Leeds on the last kick of the match to let two points slip out of their grasp.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee, Michael Kightly, walked the ball into the net as part of a two-on-two that finished with Kightly's right-footer into the bottom right corner of the net in the 27th minute to put the Hornets up 1-0. Both sides played aggressively, but the opportunities were thwarted until the end of the match.

A chance to slam the door was missed when Marvin Sordell failed to convert a penalty shot with two minutes to go and a Nyron Nosworthy challenge on Mika Vayrynen set up a Robert Snodgrass penalty shot in the last seconds of the three minutes of injury time. Snodgrass sent Scott Loach the wrong way and Leeds salvaged a point.

The draw, which saw Lloyd Doyley's return to the pitch, extended the Hornet's unbeaten streak to 5 games.

The squad sits 5 points clear of relegation. The next match is at Blackpool, Saturday, December 17. Kickoff is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
