Southampton (2-2) 14-9-18 51 pts.

Set pieces made the game as the lead swung back & forth at Vicarage Road today. Jan Paul Saeijs scored the first of his two goals in the 14th minute off an assist from Ryan Smith's corner kick to put the Saints ahead.

Latvian midfielder Aleksandrs Cauna, on loan from Skonto, made the most of his start today left-footing the equalizer in from 18 yards in the 21st minute. There the score stood until minute 67 when an outswinging corner resulted in a Tamas Priskin header (asst. Jack Cork) to give the Hornets their first lead of the match.

Sadly a Ross Jenkins foul in the final minutes of regulation time on Saeijs resulted in a free kick which the Dutchman converted into the tying goal.

The point puts Watford nine points clear of relegation with five matches left. The next match kicks off at 9:00 am St. Louis time Saturday, April 11 at Vicarage Road as the Hornets host Barnsley.
