Watford 0-1 Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0-4 6 pts

O! Work, how I hate thee!

A meeting came up in the midst of yesterday's match. Between that and hunting around for the Seagull's broadcast when I couldn't get to the Watford FC site, I managed to catch about 5 minutes of the match.

Probably just as well as they discourage crying at work.

The Hornets went down for the fourth straight match, again on a set-piece - this time a penalty kick from Craig Mackail-Smith. For those of you that want the gory details, the BBC Sport link is above.

The next match is . . . today!? What!? A closed door friendly with QPR. I can't recall mid-season friendlies before, but Lord knows we have enough players. Zola hopes to stretch the legs of "One Size" Fitz Hall (I'll never get tired of that) and perhaps recently-sprung Troy Deeney.

The next match that counts is Saturday, September 22 when Bristol City visits Vicarage Road. Kickoff is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
