Watford 2-2 Bristol City 2-1-4 7 pts.

To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld: Watford can TAKE a lead they just can't KEEP a lead.

The Robins equalized twice to salvage a point in yesterday's match, leaving Watford with the consolation prize of having broken their four game losing streak.

Scoreless at the half, a flurry of activity by Marco Cassetti and Sean Murray resulted in James Wilson getting a leg on Murray's shot and earning an own goal for his troubles as the Hornets took a 1-0 lead in the 59th minute.

That lead lasted all of four minutes before Marvin Elliott drew the match. Matej Vydra answered with help from Daniel Pudil from 12 yards out in minute 72, but the defense could not hold and Steven Davies stole two points away from Watford with seven minutes left.

The match also saw the return of Troy Deeney following his incarceration and the Watford debut of Fitz Hall.

The next match is Saturday, September 29th at Huddersfield. Kickoff is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
