Watford showed its Premier League form yesterday: they crumbled in the waning minutes of the match against a true Prem squad.
Twice.
Despite being up 2-0 at home on goal by Javier Acuna and Davide Faraoni, the Hornets were escorted out of Cup play by a pair of Gary Hooper (Super-Duper!) goals in the 90th and 115th minutes respectively.
As an aside, it wasn't my fault (or it was entirely my fault depending on how you look at it). I was on board for the first two goals, but conference calls pulled me out of action for the second half and added time.
But back to League play then as we host Wigan Saturday, September 28. Kickofff is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
