A Lewis McGugan penalty salvaged two points for Watford yesterday in what threatened to be another one of 'those games'.
McGugan put the Hornets up thirteen minutes in but in all-too-familiar Watford fashion, the Rovers equalized just three minutes later when Chris Brown found a rebounded Theo Robinson shot at his feet. It looked like another single point for Watford as the match drew to a close, but Sean Murray snuck into the penalty area just as James Husband committed a sloppy foul, setting up the penalty shot for McGugan which he slotted for his second goal.
The win puts Watford back in the playoff zone with twelve points.
The next match is Saturday, September 21st at Barnsley. Kickoff is 9:00 St. Louis time.
