Jon Harley got his first goal as a Hornet but it was not enough to top the MK Dons Wednesday as Watford fell 1-2. Loach started as keeper while Richard Lee sits out a few weeks to rehabilitate his knee.
Two matches are scheduled for Saturday - the first team travelling to Barnet and the reserves to Tring Athletic. Kickoff for both is 9:00 am St. Louis time.
As luck would have it, I'll be watching my wife play at that time in Ladue. I think I may have the best game of the three.
After Saturday there is one more friendly, at St. Albans City on Tuesday, before the season starts at Crystal Palace next Saturday.
